Lisa Cantrell

Lisa (she/her) is a psychologist, a professor at Sacramento State University, and the founder of Capital Storytelling. She holds a doctorate in Psychology and has spent nearly a decade training educators, physicians, researchers, and activists to use storytelling to communicate and transform themselves and their communities. Capital Storytelling is a nonprofit organization with the mission to empower individuals to tell their own true stories and, in doing so, to foster empathy, compassion, and connection.
