Kanika is a Trauma Therapist at the Counseling and Psychological Services with Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She graduated with a Master's degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2010 and has worked in various clinical settings- K-12 schools, hospitals, non-profits, and community colleges before joining NU in July 2017. In the clinical realm, Kanika values sharing her expertise on relationship challenges, understanding grief/loss, and various immigrant experiences. She continues to understand and learn from the juxtaposition of her social positions- being a minority in the United States while also holding privileged South Asian identities.
