STORYTELLER BIO:

Gita Baliga-Savel’s writing pushes boundaries around caste, race, and gender while questioning constructs such as 'creativity', 'success', and 'shame'. She tutors 5th through 12th graders in writing, organization, and time management (some of the older ones in college essay coaching, as well). She has two sweet children, a darling daughter-in-law, and a cute pup. She lives in San Jose, CA.
